Here are a few comments about this video. First, some viewers rightly pointed out that I should have mentioned computer security along with hacking, and I completely agree. That was my mistake. I apologize to all computer security professionals and thank them for their hard work! Second, I also forgot to mention interpreters along with compilers in the section about compilers. Again, I am very sorry about this because, of course, it is an important concept that people need to know. In addition, the idea that languages are compiled into other languages was presented in too complex a way. In practice, it is much simpler. I probably should have given one simple example. And third, NP-complete problems can be solved. It’s just that as they get more complex, it becomes very difficult. When I said that NP-complete problems are “impossible to solve,” I meant that large NP-complete problems that are of interest to the industry are considered practically unsolvable.
